When I made this title, I didn't know which one would be more interesting, ship viewpoints or family posing. Maybe they will be equally beautiful and fun!
The Husband often did his usual wake up at 3:30 a.m., which was a 7:30ish a.m. time here at home. I took a notepad so he could write where he was going and what he was going to do so I wouldn't wonder. We had no cell service on the ship and sometimes inquiring minds just needed to know. He often went to the deck and walked around it with his binoculars around his neck. Of course in Alaska, at 3:30 a.m. it's practically daylight. He assures us he saw whales, dolphins, and sea otters in the water and a grizzly bear walking on the shore. Lucky Husband. I just continued with my rest.
We all went out on the deck when we arrived at the Hubbard Glacier on the last day. The ship would circle around in the water so all sides could get good views. It was really nice. Above the clouds we were able also to see the top of Mount St. Elias, the second tallest Alaska mountain. So here we go....enjoy the view!
